1. Case Club - Hard Case for 5 Pistols and 20 Magazines

best pistol case on amazon

Credit: Amazon.com

Highlight: Holds 5 pistols and 20 magazines (+5 more in the magwells). Case is 100% shippable and airline approved for TSA checked luggage.

Helpful review: "Ok so when i received it i flipped the latches and could not get the lid to open and i really pulled at it. Well guess what - it was vacuum sealed and i had to release the knob screw by the case handle until it went “hisssssssss” and equalized pressure. I typically only see that on pelican and mil issue cases- so yeh i was impressed.
Came with a nice reusable desiccant can, cutouts are well placed and well executed. You will have to pluck out the foam, it is laser cut but they leave it in there for you to remove as needed. Was not difficult. Does not come with a photo guide so use photos on amazon here as a guide.
The far right foam is cut slightly different so you can have a replacable “assembly” for either a 5th full size pistol + row of mags, or, a nice big storage area for eyes/ears etc. What i discovered is, if you take out the far right pistol foam assembly and leave the cavity, you can pack three sub-compact pistols in holster or protective pouches, plus several mags. That is 7 guns in this case with mags, awesome. Or i can put back in the far right foam and carry 5 full size pistols plus mags.
See my photo - from left to right in case: Kimber Warrior .45, Sig P229 .40, Springfield XD .45, Walther PPQ 9mm. Perfect fit, not sloppy at all, impressed. Even my XD .45 double stack 10rd mags with finger extension fit no prob!
SUM IT ALL UP:
This is not a pelican case, but it is good quality and well worth the low price tag for what you get, and I am glad I took a gamble on it. I also own pelican cases. If I ever go to the top of Everest or a hardcore whitewater rafting adventure, I will take the pelican case - otherwise this Case Club case seems more than adequate for just about anything I intend to throw at it on a normal use basis. It is not flimsy at all, and its air tight.
NOW TO MY NEIGHBOR'S REVIEW:
"I researched these cases from A to Z. I bought the Vault300 BUT then I found Case Club!!! I bought this one thinking... well I'll wait and compare them. Well the Pelican V300 Vault Large Pistol Case got returned! Case Club rocks. Did I say great price? Rare that quality and affordable price go hand in hand.
The cut out inserts are included and you can customize to YOUR liking. V300 you have to pay another 65+ . I have a G21SF - XD40 - G22 and 2 Olights (they rock 2 BTW!) plus filled to capacity with mags and several other cool things. Glock mags fit tightly - XD mags have a little loose play - no big deal.
BTW I don't leave my olights on and just put them in the right side spot. Plus I love that a pro Silica Gel Canister is included! No saving little ones from other shipping or vit bottles. I put this case through the paces. I've turned all of my friends onto them as well. At range I'm constantly asked where did I get that?!?! Don't waste your time. One of the great things I love about Amazon are the reviews people leave! Hopefully this helps. But I say.... Buy this one - save $$$ and time. Cheers." — James Keyler

2. Vault by Pelican - Pistol Case with Foam

best pistol case on amazon

Credit: Amazon.com

Highlight: Cases are sealed against moisture and dust for long-term confidence in harsh conditions.

Helpful review: "Cutting out the foam was the hardest part. Just go slowly and use a sharp blade and even that is not too hard.
If I had to look for something to complain about, it would be that it really should have (IMHO) built-in locks, or come with some. There should at the very least be a recommendation on some decent locks (i.e. not Masterlock) to use with it. After lots of web browsing I ordered a set of three ABUS 64TI/40 Titalium Aluminum Alloy Padlocks. They seem to have a good reputation as locks, and were (according to the Internet) the right size.
Well, the articles that mentioned them did say that they were a nice snug fit, with no play so that they didn't move around and make a noise. No kidding! They fit VERY tightly. Good, because it makes it impossible to get a knife/hacksaw blade under the lid, but bad in that they fit at an angle ... which is ok ... just looks a bit odd. Other than that, it's pretty solid. Good buy.
UPDATE:
Flew with this case from Arizona to Tennessee with no problems at the TSA counter. Make sure you call the airlines to get their rules for traveling with a firearm. Box traveled inside my checked bag so I had no issues at all. A family member bought this same box and traveled from Tennessee to Michigan with no issues either.
A FEW WORDS FROM A FRIEND:
This pistol vault is very sturdy and easy to use. I traveled with it through two airports and had no issues. At the third airport however, the TSA agent attempted to pry it open because I only had one lock on it. He would not clear me, so I had to leave the vault with a friend. Make sure you have two locks for your vault. I should have known better. I have learned from my mistakes and will have no other issues in the future. When you go to look at locks, make sure to bring the box with you because you need a lock that has a little bit of a longer shackle because the holes on the box are a little thick.
MY NEIGHBOR’S REVIEW:
This is a great gun case for the price, be weary of the bad reviews! The bad reviews stem from the fact that you WILL need to modify the foam. This requires use of your hands and at least 2 brain cells. If you don't have those, maybe you should reconsider this purchase. No, there are not precut little squares like your favorite coloring book, get a sharp razor blade and a box of band aids and get to work. I will say the hinges are a little on the weak side, but for the price it's expected." — Kim Bynum

3. Eylar - Water and Shock Proof Case

best pistol case on amazon

Credit: Amazon.com

Highlight: Waterproof protection for up to 1 meter fully submerged with a rubber gasket lining.

Helpful review: "I’ve been looking for several solid cases to hold small telescopes and accessories that were a bit more affordable than the industry standard Pelican cases. A lot of the cases I looked at, like those at a well-known chain imported tool store, were not of the quality I was looking for. But these Eyeler cases had a ton of positive reviews, so I ordered one, thinking if I liked it, I might order some larger ones as well.
On the whole, I’m favorably impressed. Construction is better than most of the inexpensive cases. It operates smoothly and feels solid. This one is just large enough to hold my 50mm finder/guide scope and an eyepiece or two. But it does have a few flaws. My sample has some ugly flashing on the rear from some sloppy molding or finishing. I can fix this with some sanding, but it really should have been caught in quality control.
The foam insert is undersized, with a very visible gap all around. I may replace that. The hinge pins are of a good size, but I’d like to see a slightly bigger pin in the latches. But overall, it’s a solidly built case and a reasonable value.
UPDATE:
Amazing case. It’s air tight and water tight. The snaps close tightly and stay closed. Very sturdy and well made. Keeps my handgun secure, doesn’t move around when carrying a case at all. AND there are holes to be able to put locks on the case. Great product. Highly recommend it.
MY NEIGHBOR’S REVIEW:
This case is the perfect case for my 9mm Smith and Wesson Shield. It has enough room to fit the handgun plus 2 magazines plus a small accessory item and hold them all securely. The fit and finish of the case is superb and the case is the perfect size. It is compact enough to fit on a shelf in my gun safe which makes it convenient for me for storage purposes. I travel considerably so the TSA compliant feature is important for me as well as the waterproof feature. The foam insert is easy to customize to your individual set up. I will definitely buy it again.
A FEW WORDS FROM A FRIEND:
The is insanely sturdy, went to get a pair of scissors and my 1yr old chucked it across the room. And it's still intact. I like the thickness of the locking clips. I love the fact that the first foam has small slits in it so I can get a firm fit around my 25 pocket raven. And I can take the foam out and get to the secondary foam for my knives and holster. I also love that I can put my own padlock on it to keep my 1yr old out of it. The case is waterproof which is great cuz I dont have to worry about getting caught in the rain since I live in Pennsylvania. Overall the case I'd great and definitely worth the money. I will buy another one for my husband." — David Jay

4. Plano - Single Scoped Pistol Case

best pistol case on amazon

Credit: Amazon.com

Highlight: Accommodates a longer barreled handgun with scope and accessories or two small handguns.

Helpful review: "What a fantastic bargain on this little pistol case. I honestly did not have high expectations, nor did I expect a very high level of fit and finish. I was pleasantly surprised when I received my new case and discovered that it was much better than I anticipated.
Of course as many people have pointed out it is not exactly heavy duty, but for my purposes it is perfect for storing my new Taurus G3. I flipped one side of the egg shell foam over, traced my gun and magazines, and carefully cut out the foam to custom fit my gun and mags. It will hold everything very securely and completely to my satisfaction and needs, and it will meet any requirements for security during a range visit as well.
How do I travel with it on an airline? Probably not, but if that was my intention I would have bought a different case.
UPDATE:
This has to be the best pistol case under $15 on Amazon! It's so high in quality and sturdiness compared to the price it's offered for and will keep your pistols safe and secure in place. If you don't wish to keep extra magazines, then you can even store two full size pistols in one case, like me. It stores all of them perfectly intact without moving them around even when I'm traveling or handling the case roughly. Really happy with this product and would definitely recommend it!
MY FRIEND’S REVIEW:
This is a nice cheap box that can hold a handgun, a box of ammo, and 2 clips. I use this for a Ruger SR9E. The box is good enough for transporting a handgun from one location to another, or to the range. It does not have a lock, just a basic case. I like it for my cheap gun. The foam inside is nice, it compresses well to hold everything from shaking when moving. The case is light. I don't know if this will be fine if you drop it too many times on hard surfaces.
A FEW WORDS FROM A NEIGHBOR:
Product is very well made and very nice. Fits like a glove to my Rossi RM66 .357 mag with a 6 inch barrel plus leaves room for at least 1 cartridge holder and possibly a 2nd one. It has the ability to add a locking device for added safety against prying eyes or little hands. The 2 standard locking devices snap close with ease and open up easily as well. The foam inside is soft and wraps the gun snuggly when it's all closed up tight. You can also sit one on top of the other in a safe and not worry about them moving around. Overall, I would definitely recommend this to anyone needing a reasonably priced way to protect your handgun this is a cost effective way to do just that." — R.J.

5. MTM - Single Revolver Case

best pistol case on amazon

Credit: Amazon.com

Highlight: For automatics and scoped revolvers with barrels measuring 6 inches or less.

Helpful review: "These cases are perfect for storing a firearm. Especially when paired with TSA Forge or Sure Locks. I originally purchased the case intended for a firearm with a 4" barrel, but after I had purchased and received the case, I stumbled upon the sellers "separate" listing for a case that supports a firearm with a 6" barrel. Had I known this from the start, I would have purchased the 6" from the start. So I will be returning the smaller of the two. The bigger 6" case is almost a staple for anyone who wants to store their firearm, 2 magazines and a box or two of ammo.
Note to seller: You should create a listing that has both sizes on it, so that potential buyers know there is more than one size. Had I not accidentally come across the bigger size, I would have bought a bigger size from elsewhere, and you wouldn't have gotten my money.
Anyhow, instead of showing off my firearm as most of the other reviewers seem to be doing, my focus here is on the box itself, as well as the locks I purchased separately.
I will spare you the effort in hunting for good locks. I took some time to find decent locks for these cases, as it is required in CA to transport your firearm in a locked box. Aside from the more expensive mono shaft locks ($15 ea), I found what is IMO to be the perfect lock for both size cases (Forge $13.95 a pair and Sure Lock $15.03 a pair). I had already purchased the "Forge" locks for the 4" case at the time I bought it, so I still have them in my possession for this review. Unfortunately the Forge locks do not fit the 6" case due to its bigger size, so I then bought the "Sure Lock" locks for the 6" case, which fits perfectly. Forge does not make locks with a bigger cable, thus the reason for the two different brands. But the two brands are very similar.
One of the major flaws I notice, with not only some gun boxes, but with way some of you are locking them up, is that you are using locks which allow enough space for someone to slide out your firearm; and then there are those gun boxes that don't have the locking points / latches in critical areas (very common with long gun cases). This is especially important for anyone who's using these cases as a primary option for storing their firearm. Keep in mind that these are only plastic, and should not be used as a primary source for storage, and instead should only be used for transport. A metal locking box is a better option for primary storage, especially if you have kids around.
So note to the reviewers who have complained about how supposedly the hinges can be broken to gain access... It's plastic!!! The whole box can be broken to gain access. Use them only for travel!
Anyhow, with the locks I found, even with the latches undone, there is little to no slack when you try to open the case.
I do not ever plan on traveling with my firearm anytime soon, but for those that do, know that these locks also double as TSA approved locks. Which means that you will not have to purchase additional looks to travel with your firearm.
I also forgot to mention that for those of you who like the flat foam look, you can simply flip it upside down." — Rachel Crawley

6. Case Club - Pre-Cut Waterproof Case

best pistol case on amazon

Credit: Amazon.com

Highlight: Can accommodate under barrel attachments.

Helpful review: "Like them enough to buy two. Sturdy, well made, and at a better price than others. Pre-cut is more to my liking than the "pick and pluck" of others, but opinions will vary on that. Those with good spatial awareness and desiring an exact fit to their personal liking will like the Pelican counterpart better IMHO. If not particularly good at spatial visualization, or if less patient about outlining and positioning before plucking, then pre-cut is better for you.
I'm not at all a fan of the cases with "dimple" foam top and bottom, but again a personal choice with pros and cons. If it is the first time removing the various sections, then use some patience and discretion. "Measure twice, cut once." Lay the gun on the uncut foam and make sure you know which sections have to come out. If you have to remove some other than the central one, remember the supplied knife is sharp and it is easy to color outside of the lines, cut outside the lines, especially in the curves fitting a 1911.
Use the back of the knife just on the surface to outline the areas to come out and once sure then cut down a few strokes at a time. If you have to widen an area on a curve, make sure to nick the area to come out (yeah I know, duh, but easy to slip).
Again, maybe good enough for short-term storage, with desiccant packs added, but will attract and retain moisture in a more humid climate - even if stored in temperate indoor conditions.
If you don't have a safe, then a sturdy case like this with desiccant and LOCKED is the BARE MINIMUM that one should do. Won't deter theft in the least bit but will at least slow down naïve and innocent of all ages. Of course, don't ever store a gun in the nylon soft case (or a holster of any material) in a gun safe.
Haven't tested the waterproofness and don't intend to. But, the O ring in the lid seems sturdy and of a material that won't deteriorate too badly over time. It isn't a 5 ATM dry box but doesn't pretend to be. Construction seems good enough to withstand getting caught in rain, and perhaps being dropped into very shallow water for a min or two. This case is a good product that does exactly what it claims to do. You could do a lot worse for the same money." — Mike Masquer

7. My Case Builder - Heavy-Duty Doro Gun Case

best pistol case on amazon

Credit: Amazon.com

Highlight: Injection molded case is airtight, impact and crush-resistant, and includes cut-to-length plugs that provide extra support for shorter magazines. Removable foam fore-ledges accommodate most under-barrel attachments.

Helpful review: "The slots in the case will fit most of my full size pistols and extra magazines. They are too loose for my small frame pistols like the PPK and similar. It is well designed and really does immobilize them so they can not move. It is a far simpler and better system than the old style cases with the pluck out foam. The pistols in storage stick up enough that it is easy to get them out in this case. The 2 pistol case is harder.
The foam itself is denser than the soft pluck out foam. I was initially concerned that the harder foam in this case would leave rub marks on my pistols since it is denser. I have used several of these cases extensively for the past few months and have yet to find any rub marks. It is doing exactly what it was designed to do, protect my pistols in transport. I am unable to find any fault with it.
The case itself seems well built and appears to be water and dust proof but I have not tested it. I'm not going to throw it out the window while driving down the freeway to see if it really works. It closes and seals easily. The latches do not have any type of lock to hold them down. I would prefer they had a built in release button that had to be pushed prior to flipping the lever up. I would like to see something like the Pelican Vault series has. That has not been an issue yet. Of course it is easily solved by putting a lock on the case. I use a small keychain snap link to ensure it stays closed.
The only negative thing I find with this case is that the adhesive stick on the name tag "DORO" is coming off. That's not really a problem either since they don't pay me to advertise for them.
I've been a gun guy for over 60 years and this case is the absolute best transport case for multiple pistols that I have ever used.
A FEW WORDS FROM A NEIGHBOR:
This is a really nice case. The insert is nicely cut and fits all of my Semi-Autos just fine. For anyone who has had an insert custom cut for a Pelican style case, you will know: 1. Good foam ain't cheap. 2. Custom fitting ain't cheap. 3. Stock foam is not ideal, nor is a crisp clean DIY cut on the stock foam easy to achieve (if even possible?). I have several Pelicans brand cases for long guns, camera equipment, and military gear sitting next to this one. This case almost rivals a Pelican in weight and build quality. For a "drag to the range" case, it is probably the perfect option. Maybe in a plane crash at sea, a Pelican would be a better choice. Hopefully, I will not have an opportunity to test that scenario. There are also similar cases, with perhaps an even more convenient pre-cut insert, but nice ones are almost twice as much money. So, I can provide no comparison between Nanuk or Case Club offerings. They look pretty good too. While one could buy a real Pelican brand case without foam insert, and pay $140 for a custom cut high density insert (at a local military case builder...we have that opportunity in my area), this is a much more economical and perfectly satisfactory option. Glad I found it." — Henri Murphy

8. Glock - Hard Gun Case

best pistol case on amazon

Credit: Amazon.com

Highlight: Hard case for Glock 17, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 29, 30, 34 and 35.

Helpful review: "This review is my first impressions of this case. Purchased this case specifically to carry a handgun from Arizona to home in Texas on an airline flight. It worked very well. Delivered within 24 hours. Once I received it, I fitted it to my handgun. The case came with several layers of foam rubber and can easily be adapted to the specific gun. The case worked extremely well for my purpose. In fact, I am considering purchasing one more for another gun in my possession.
UPDATE:
It is not the heaviest material you can find on the market but is light weight. Since the airline prefers that you carry the unloaded firearm (no ammunition in the locked case) inside your checked bag, the light weight and small size is a plus. I placed two locks on the gun case as it is capable of having two locks.
A FEW WORDS FROM A NEIGHBOR:
My glock was stolen with the original case years ago. Thankfully Police recovered it (my glock), but without the case. This case came with everything my original came with(pistol lock, brand new glock manual/docs, and cleaning rod). Compact to carry with easy to use latches. If you only had one pistol, the grid could be used to make cutouts for 2 or 3 magazines too. Otherwise they could be foam protected on flat foam under the gun foam. From first impressions this will be a large step up from what I am currently using to transport my pistol.
MY FRIEND’S REVIEW:
I bought this for my Glock airguns. It's made for storing just one pistol but as you can see from my pic, it'll fit two plus clips in a pinch. Gun lock and cleaning rod and brush are designed for 9mm bores and aren't much use for .177 cal BB guns, but still cool to have. Added bonus: a thick packet of literature containing the extensive official Glock 17 owner's manual, a firearm safety guide, and half a dozen additional gun ownership leaflets are also included. Glock perfection." — Kyle Momberger

9. Cedar Mill Fine Firearms - Hard Case with Dual-Lock System

best pistol case on amazon

Credit: Amazon.com

Highlight: Unlike pistol cases that crack, chip and break, the cedar mills fine firearms pistol case is engineered for strength and durability.

Helpful review: "Nice quality and inexpensive case to store my pistol which the original case was broken and not working properly and completely insecure (for the last 20 years). This case worked perfectly and easily customized to fit my 1911 style firearm.
Would highly suggest this case if you don't have a case or the one you have is in poor condition. It sits in a large safe so I was not concerned about the physical security of the case itself so it was not a factor in buying this particular case. No matter what you buy, the only way to ensure it stays put is to place it in a heavy duty safe that can't be moved. Otherwise, you could easily cut through it to access the firearm.
UPDATE:
The best part is the middle layer is separated into little connected squares so you can easily make an outline of your guns, magazines, and bullet box without scissors.
MY NEIGHBOR’S REVIEW:
This case is exactly what I was looking for. After reading multiple reviews I decided to purchase this. I have to say that my review is very high as well. My girlfriend and I are taking a trip in a couple weeks and wanted a safe, legal means of transporting our guns on the airplane. The pluck-a-part foam works perfectly to securely hold them inside the case. Pictured on the left are both of our daily carries. My Glock 23 and her SA XD-S, along with a magazine for each (admittedly a tight but secure fit) I’m sure it wouldn’t take anyone very long to open the locked case but that’s not why we purchased it. I can’t speak to the ruggedness of it just yet although my initial impression is great. It should easily meet the airline’s recommendation.
A FEW WORDS FROM A FRIEND:
I bought this case for my 9mm Smith and Wesson M&P Shield. Not only will my pistol easily fit inside, but so will the spare magazines. The case even came with a handy tool to help punch out the foam to fit whatever you are putting inside. It looks like the seller addressed the earlier comments about needing foam lining on the bottom since that does not appear to be a problem. I am very happy with this purchase and plan to buy another if my next pistol comes in a cardboard box (c' mon Smith and Wesson!)." — Holden

10. MTM - 2-Pistol Case

best pistol case on amazon

Credit: Amazon.com

Highlight: Two-pistol, snap-latch handgun case.

Helpful review: "For the price, this is a great case for storing and light-toting up to two pistols (e.g. see attached photo with two 1911s and four magazines for a sense of size). This has all plastic components with a lighter plastic casing and egg-crate foam that holds the contents securely enough. With my arrangement, there is a .5cm gap along the closure edges.
I would say this is good for storage and for trips to the range. I would not recommend this case for trips that require rugged construction, 100% tamper-proof security, or element-proof encasement. While it would technically pass TSA requirements for firearm travel and does indeed have two lock holes and room around the handle for another cable lock if desired, I would not personally attempt airline transport with this case.
If you need a more rugged application or if you will be air-traveling with your firearm(s), you'll probably want to look into Pelican or another upper-tier case. If you need, however, an affordable storage case or light-to-medium use range case, you can't beat this for the money. Glad I bought and will purchase more as needed.
MY FRIEND’S REVIEW:
I bought this MTM pistol case for one reason and one reason only: to hold my Taurus Raging Bull. This large frame revolver has an 8.375" (8 3/8") barrel. After reading other reviews, I was sold on this case. I have other MTM products, so I am familiar with the brand and don't question the quality of the case. The plastic is rigid enough and the foam grabs and keeps the items inside snug and in place. The latches are adequate and snap close securely. I knew that I could fit the revolver diagonally, but was really pleasantly surprised to see that the gun can fit across the entire width of the case as well. The case closes with no problem and keeps the guns in their place. I swung this around a few times and upon opening it, was pleased to find everything in its place. If you have a large revolver, or want to store or transport multiple compact or subcompact handguns, this affordable case might be to your liking." — Jeremiah Payne

11. Flambeau - 10-Inch Pistol Case

best pistol case on amazon

Credit: Amazon.com

Highlight: The heavy-duty plastic construction of the Pistol Pack Case protects your weapon from general wear and tear. Features convoluted foam interior cushioning.

Helpful review: "This box is light which is good for air travel. It also has the proper security latches which may someday be enforced by the TSA. Cases with this shape have 2 available options. One has separate latches and lock holes. A really bad closure method for TSA rules. The others, like the flambeau and Sig Sauer cases, have an integrated closure/lock which secures the latches closed with concentric holes. With a cable lock through the 2 holes or longer paddle, the separate systems can be partially opened. The flambeau latches are secured with any lock.
The Shield fits nicely in the unit with 1 or even 2 clips.
The first unit was sent with no foam inserts. The replacement was good. The inserts are not glued in which is good. Sig Sauer case inserts are glued in making the surface sticky for custom inserts. The flambeau inserts are just right for the Shield/clips and only require adding paper towels or thin foam to keep the clips and Shield separate if your bag takes a dump off the airport kind and gentle conveyor belt.
For locks do not get TSA lock(s). TSA is not allowed to open the case without the owner being present. The owner must be the only person in possession of keys. All holes in any case must be locked. For this case 2 holes require 1 cable lock through both holes or 2 paddle locks.
UPDATE:
Flambeau - to make a better pistol travel box. Replace the 2 hole lock system with a one hole system. TSA only requires the case can not be pried open and it is locked. A latch that spans the front and latches both ends with one lock may work. These aren't anti theft boxes. They can easily be stolen or cut open. They are TSA rule cases. In an airport, 2 or more locks are time consuming during check in.
A FEW WORDS FROM A FRIEND:
This pistol/ revolver case is slightly larger inside than most factory supplied cases. It is good for average size smaller framed .22 LR , .32 ACP, .380 ACP, compact 9 MM, and small revolvers 2½"-3" .38/ .357, .44, .45 caliber guns. The padded convoluted foam liner keeps spare magazines and speed loaders in place. Sliding dual latches help secure the case closed. The value is great AND you get that feature of being able to install a lock (not included with the case) on both sides of the handle that will help prevent anyone curious or determined from hurriedly twisting the halves apart on one side to gain access to your firearm like other case designs would allow. I highly recommend this to help deter theft and tampering.
MY NEIGHBOR’S REVIEW:
Nice, budget Friendly case that holds my budget friendly gun. Fits my SCCY CPX-2 and its 2 magazines with ease. I saw a few negative reviews on here that seemed like nonsense. Some complained about the quality and the foam but I found no issue. For the money, it's a great case. I would not expect premium quality from something that costs as much as an average lunch, but for the price, it's a great case! Yes, as others have said, the foam is not glued in, but for me that's a plus, I store my owners manual underneath the foam. Some said the sticker left residue, but mine came right off, some even complained about the molding marks on the case, but who cares? It's a case, and it does what a case should, regardless of a blemish. Case closed." — CatWacker
