Helpful review: "This has been great for our 3 and 1 year olds to share. We had previously bought a Peg Perego Case III tractor that my oldest son loves (and he has been so hard on it and it has lasted so well! If you need a one-seater, I highly recommend it!), so we figured we needed to get another vehicle for our younger son to ride along as the tractor was only a one-seater.
First off, this truck is more of a Cadillac or Rolls Royce compared to the Case III being more of a Porche. The Case has 2 speeds and will really get up and go and can take tighter turns, but as far as features that's where it stops.
1. This truck has great suspension, but it does not go very fast and the turning radius isn't very tight.
2. A radio with 1. pre-programmed mp3's (about 5 or so), 2. a USB plug for your own music to plug in, 3. it picks up local radio stations too! And it has volume controls as well.
3. The seat and included seatbelt will fit 2 small children (one is about 30 lbs, the other about 25 lbs).
4. The headlights and tail lights work!
5. There is a second cutout under the hood if you would like to beef up the stereo and add a second speaker (it only comes with one speaker).
6. There is also considerable space under the hood if you want to add any weight. Sudden reverse to forward movements can cause the truck to want to pop a wheelie since the seat is near the rear moving the center of gravity where the kids are sitting.
7. The "mirrors" on the doors are adjustable and the steering wheel has a working horn button and radio station change button.
8. The parent remote is a great feature (be careful not to push the parking break button and not remember to turn it back off or the kids can't drive the truck on their own). The remote has a pretty short range though so you pretty much have to follow them around with it to keep the signal. But it does seem to have more than one speed when using the remote. I haven't tested it yet to see if setting the speed on the remote carries over when they they go back to driving themselves.
9. The battery life I would say is pretty short compared to the Case. It has to be charged every night after a day of play while the Case can go a couple days on a charge.
All in all it's been great so far in the few weeks we've had it. The kids will drive around outside for hours and just get such a kick out of it!" — Dyna Oak

Highlight: Farm tractor wheels provide traction on grass, dirt, gravel or pavement.

Helpful review: "Our grandson absolutely loves this tractor. He is almost three and it took a couple of times riding around to get the knack of steering. I wish the upgraded more powerful battery would come with the tractor. I plan on purchasing one as a backup. I added real headlights which operate with a rocker switch and got the after market battery operated horn. I got a three pack of bicycle flasher lights which have an elastic strap with Velcro and attached them to the exhaust stack both for looks and to show up for vehicles on our roadway which has scant traffic. I got the idea on YouTube to attach bicycle tire tread on the wheels both to protect the plastic wheels and to provide traction. The plastic tires are slippery and they were showing wear after only three times riding around on asphalt. Plus the bicycle tread should provide a quieter ride. I cut off an inch on each side of the bicycle tires so they would lie flat against the tractor tires and fastened them with 3/4” stainless steel coarse thread screws. Others used coarse drywall screws which wouldn’t show as much but I wanted something to hold up to getting wet." — Larry Powell
Trending review: "First, let me say that this tractor is terrific. It is powerful and my daughter loves to drive it around the yard. She is learning the concepts of: turning left and right, start and stop, on and off, fast and slow, etc. Although the manufacturer clearly states not to use it on "hills", the fact is, we have hills. The plastic tires are terrible on wet and/or very dry grass (i.e. summer drought grass), the tires also spin on asphalt/blacktop if you are on a grade. This is because the tractor has so much initial torque that it doesn't gradually accelerate - it just takes off. If you look closely, the plastic tires have a small grove in the center. Other Peg-Perego models actually have a red rubber band that fits in to those groves for traction - they are called "traction bands". I did some research to fix the constant tire spinning problem and here is the easiest, least expensive, best option (in my opinion). The rear tires measure about 12.75 inches. I went to the local department store and purchased one 12.5 inch kids bike tire. I removed each sidewall of the bike tire using the edge of the tread as a guide (I cut it will heavy duty all-purpose scissors/cutters). I then cut the tire in half directly down the center (first by making a slit with a utility knife, then using the all-purpose heavy duty scissors/cutters to make the cut) - the center of the tire has a mold mark, so it is easy to follow the center. Then, I stretched each half of the bike tire over each rear plastic tire on the tractor - sliding the tire to the center so that the smallest part of the bike tire fit in to the grove on the plastic tractor tire. Viola! The tractor has excellent tractor for both starting and stopping. A 30 minute fix for about $10. Overall, we are very happy with this toy! It should last my daughter for many years to come." — Mike Marinelli
Reassuring review: "Let me just start off by saying my son is in love with this tractor. I got this for my 3 year old sons birthday this year and he does so well with it. I think he would have done well with it even on his second birthday. It has a lock to where I could prohibit him from going into the second gear which is the fastest. It has 2 gears: Level 1 and Level 2. It also has reverse which he does well with also. Let me tell you Level 2 is fast! I'm talking I don't know if I've ever seen a kids toy go that fast before. But It is perfect for my 3 year old because he loves fast and yet it seems very safe for him to do. Also the steering is great. Also the battery power is amazing for a kids toy! About an hour and a half on the fastest level. He is rarely on level 1 but I'm sure it would last for hours. Now there are a few down sides. It can be difficult to open the hood to charge. But it will open if you know what your doing. It also does not take too long to charge in my opinion. Another downside though is that it is made of mostly plastic. Even the wheels are made of plastic. I could imagine it would be hard to get around in tall grass. We keep ours fairly kept though so we never have a problem with that. Even though it is made of plastic I think It is still a nice buy and seeing how much my son loves it is priceless to me. I really suggest this product if your are looking at different ride along toys. Because this one is a great one!" — Nicole Peterson

Highlight: Let your child drive manually or use the remote control to safely guide them yourself.

Helpful review: "Wonderful for my 2 year old, almost 3 year old. We bought her a minnie mouse car that is petal only and she does NOT understand how to drive it , steer it, or press the gas and let off. if you have a toddler, you need the jeep or car with the REMOTE control. The parent can steer, there is emergency shut off, you can do the speed and direction. No worries about a car coming down the street because you are in control. The other car has sat in the garage since Christmas and we will give it to her in another year when she can comprehend better. I saw other parents down my street at Christmas without the remote cars with a child my age- and there battery cars are sitting at the house not being used because their child cant figure it out yet either. The remote is a must. We bought a similar jeep last year that was more expensive, but it blue toothed music and did a little more or had a little extra to the look.... this one is just as good. We left that one out in the rain. Make sure to put these up. They can get spiders and stuff in them, even on a covered porch. You can spray the underside with bug spray to help. A great buy, and the best gift for any toddler. Instead of chasing them in the yard, you can walk beside them at the pace of your choosing. 2 speed choices. My daughter loves it." — Kaley de Salvo
Trending review: "This was the best gift for my son! Set up wasn't too difficult, the size works well for us since we store it in the house and didn't want it taking up too much space. The battery life is great. My mom lives about a quarter mile from our house and my son always wants to drive over to see his grandma. He'll do like 6 laps at a time from our house to hers just so he can wave to her and honk his horn. The longest we've gone is on a 3-mile walk and it didn't die. I wonder how far it can go on a charge, but we haven't taken it to that point. I'm impressed that it didn't die on us by the end of 3 miles. The "fast" speed setting is perfect for us as it matches a comfortable walking pace. The slow speed is way too slow, but great for when we get to an open area so he can practice steering the wheel on his own. The remote is great, though we go through a lot of batteries. I have my son control the gas, and I just use the side to side buttons to help control the steering wheel. Maybe when he's 2 he'll figure it out on his own, but it definitely comes in handy now. (I thought the remote didn't work well at first but I kept hitting the force stop button on accident. Now that I use the correct buttons, it's perfect. The radio works well, as do the headlights. It has gotten daily use since it was delivered 2 and a half months ago. I imagine he'll continue fitting well in the car for a couple more years. Our neighbor's grandson is 5 and still fits, though his knees are squished. We'll probably upgrade to a bigger model around 3 or 4, depending on how comfortable he seems. I'm very happy with this purchase, and so is my son!" — Nicole Ross

Highlight: Has easy push button acceleration that's perfect for little hands.

Helpful review: "So excited with this. I opted to assemble myself and that took about an hour. Keep in mind that I’m a single mom and my 20 month old was trying to ride it while I was putting it together so she was very much around and that’s why it took me a while. The directions are clear and this is coming from someone who normally doesn’t read assembly instructions cause I can usually figure out how to assemble things based on the picture on the box (yes, I’m my father’s daughter-who needs instructions-lol). Once I got it together it actually had enough of a battery life so my daughter could ride it for a few minutes before I put it away and plugged the battery up. She was able to drive it on the carpeted and tile floor, but I’m sure it will be much more fun outside on the concrete ground. Otherwise, it’s awesome so far and I love this for my daughter and she fits perfectly on it. Can’t give any stars for battery life cause I received it the day I’m writing this review, so I don’t know how the battery life will be. I’ll try to remember to update this post in a month or so." — Kris Steffy
Trending review: "This was the BEST investment for my baby's Christmas present this year. He is 21 months old and absolutely LOVES this Mater. Super cute! It is the perfect size and it's easy to steer and the thumb button makes driving it simple for my little guy. He rides it all around the house and all over outside. He is to the point now where he will even stand up on the seat and ride it---but that's my stunt boy for you. It doesn't go too fast which is perfect for this age. It seems very sturdy and it was quite easy to assemble. The only thing that is a pain, is you have to remove the seat in order to charge it, but overall I would recommend this to anyone for their kids or grandkids who love Mater or Cars in general." — Heidi Jenkins
Reassuring review: "We bought this car for our granddaughter for Christmas, but she was too young at the time to be able to push the button to make it go, so believe me, helping her ride it was cumbersome. Fast forward a few months and this two-year old (who is small for her age) is whizzing around the yard. She loves the freedom of her very own car and we love being able to sit and watch her ride it. The charge lasts for a few days. We keep the car inside a shed and just charge it over night every few days. She plays with it daily now that the weather is good. The only issue I have with the car is that it's pretty easy for her to get the seat off of it to see where the wires and batteries are. I'm not sure if the one we have was just slightly defective, or if it's a flaw in manufacturing, but it doesn't cause a problem. Even if it did, duct tape would solve the problem. It was a great deal and is one of her favorite toys. We are so glad we bought it." — Carol Dawkins

Highlight: Double seating.

Helpful review: "Product was well packaged and arrived on time. I was apprehensive on assembly, but there were only 6 small screws and 4 bolts. The only tool needed was a Phillips screw driver. The wrench for the bolts came with the car. Everything else snapped into place. Instructions were easy to follow. I had the car ready to go in 30 minutes. The initial battery charge required 12 hours, so you'll need to start assembly the day before you plan to use it. Have only operated via remote control for a short period. Remote is simple. Front wheels don't turn smoothly with the remote and the turn radius is big. You can't make sharp turns but that may be how all these electric cars work. So far so good. I hope my grandkids like it." — Greg Cloud
Trending review: "This car is so much fun and worth every penny. It has two seats that kids can be buckled in. Parents can drive it by remote until the kids are old enough to drive it themselves. We plug it in after each use and have never used it long enough for the battery to die on us. It can play music via Bluetooth, which the kids LOVE. They also love to honk the horn / rev the engine using the buttons on the steering wheel. The doors are a little hard for the kids to open, but easy to get in and out of once open. The hood opens and can be used for storage, which the kids also love. It works well on our gravel driveway even. This car is expensive, but I am VERY pleased with it." — Jill Wright
Reassuring review: "Everything about THIS car is fantastic. We had a hard time finding electric toy car for both our girls that fit our criteria. For our 3 1/2 yr old and 1 year old it's absolutely perfect! The doors keep them from falling out, the seat belts are great keeping them safe, the remote control is a must for our young babies that can't drive safely on their own, the sounds and music capabilities are soooo fun, and the power and battery strength is amazing. One feature that is a bonus is the truck space in the hood. We take our girls for walks and picnics and it's the perfect size to hold everything we need. Our girls NEVER want to get out. Probably best purchase we could have ever made for a gift for the both of them!! If you're on the fence considering, let me assure you it's definitely worth every penny." — Seth Arnold

Highlight: Four wear-resistant wheels made of superior PP materials, meaning no inflating, leaking or tire burst.

Helpful review: "My wife bought this for the boys after our last ride on toy kicked the bucket while we were camping. Our boys kind of beat these things up so needed one that was rugged and this thing in beefy and has large wheels- no problem going on grass/gravel/up hills etc. The only thing I wish was for the seat to be bigger cause the boys sometimes fight over it and usually the 2 year old sits on my 6 year old's lap. It looks great and we ordered some “Jeep” stickers on amazon to complete the look. There a few things that make this ride on car better than all the others we have used:
1. Parental remote: GUYs. This is the best think ever. My 2 year old cant currently reach the pedal while in the 4 point harness so I can drive him all around with this and he loves it! Even my 6 year old can drive him from afar. We often take family walks at night and I strap the baby into this and drive him while we all walk. It’s a complete blast and the boys giggle like crazy and just love it
2. Lights up. Has real working headlights and also red and blue fog lights- the power button and dadh also have lights- this is a legit looking vehicle! For this reason we take it out at night and can be easily seen for safety and to know where you are going. This is also a must for camping
3. Music. YES It can be hooked up by Bluetooth and play music as well. It comes ready with a few nursery rhymes and a cute little Chinese song my kids have already memorized and are singing haha!
4. 4 point harness and speed control. These are great safety aspects- especially having access to the remote.
Careful to not leave out where it can wet and take good care of it- I suggest in a garage. I hope it lasts a long time cause it rocks! Hands down, this is better than I ever could have expected. My wife picks out great stuff for the kids but I almost feel like this was for me. I mean its an rc car you can strap your kid i to lol!" — Jason & Stefanie Schumann

Highlight: Added handrails beside the seat and an adjustable safety belt with a buckle to prevent your child from falling off.

Helpful review: "I bought 2 of these for grandkids, 3 and 5 years old and they love them! Easy to assemble, not the greatest quality but for the price it's unbeatable. If there are any drawbacks it's these; the batteries take a long time to charge and the kiddos don't really understand that, and the charger doesn't shut off automatically. We cured that with a timer. The other drawback is the Marketplace seller. A few days after purchasing the tractors the seller offered a $20 coupon, so I contacted them about getting the coupon applied. They INSISTED they could only refund a total of $20, but Amazon said there was no reason they couldn't do $20 each. So not impressed with the seller, but these toys are sold by other sellers under different names." — David Hume
Trending review: "Instructions are rough but manageable. Some parts indicated (mainly screws) were not the same as depicted so had to make some assumptions but managed find. Could do without the music buttons, why does everything have to make noise? The startup noise is fine because it doesn't remain, but they have these built in music modes that will get on your nerves. The gear selector feels a bit flimsy but is holding up so far. It's a bit difficult for my two and half year old to manage. But he is capable of driving and turning it on. Just needs help switching to reverse if he gets stuck. There are two speeds on this. My youngest likes the lower speed, and the older like the faster speed. The rest of the vehicle seems solid enough. The trailer isn't as well constructed, but it holds fine for what you're getting. You're not supposed to put anything in the trailer for their own legal reasons, but you totally can. Had him help move some small plans with it, sticks, etc. You can also get another child in there, but again it's not recommended. Battery life is great, will last for way more than they'll be interested in playing on it in a single day. The charging instructions make you think it's going to bust into flames if you charge it too long which I don't like. Could have been better to include a battery tender capable charger so the consumer can leave it on and not have the anxiety over their head about having to unplug it after a certain period of time. The plug is on the outside so no unscrewing anything, just plug it in. All in all: it's cute, it's fun, and your kids will enjoy it." — Corey Campbell
Reassuring review: "This is a great ride on toy for a 3 year old boy! Assembly was ok but directions could have been clearer. After a few trips around the yard, he decided he wanted to go faster. The shift lever must be moved to the side, then up or down so it took a little practice for him to get the hang of it. He loves the reverse gear. It's nice that the second he takes his foot off the pedal, it immediately stops. The tunes the tractor plays on the so-called radio are upbeat and keep his head boppin from side to side. The Bluetooth is a nice feature and works very well too. The headlights and tail lights are a nice feature because as I said, he doesn't want to stop riding this tractor! He rides in the dark all the time. It seems to be very sturdy and we haven't had any problems. The battery has a good long life and so far it hasn't died, even after hours of driving. We put it on the charger whenever he gets off so it will be ready for his next trip. Definitely recommend this toy for 3 or 4 year olds. I'm not sure if my grandson will be able to fit in the seat at age 5." — Greg Arnold

Highlight: Drives like the real thing, with a foot pedal accelerator, forward/reverse function, and 2 speed selections.

Helpful review: "Great fun electric battery ride on vehicle. Bought as Christmas present for our just-turned 4 year old. Arrived one day early a few days before Christmas. Assembled it alone on Dec 24th. Only issue was that at first I also thought that all hardware/charger/assembly instructions were missing, BUT I had the foresight to open up the seat using a screwdriver to find them securely hidden inside!
There was no info on the box nor any paperwork inside to let you know that those critical parts were in there and I have read some reviews that state these items are missing-probably the same issue. Panic over on Christmas Eve, and assembly was essentially simple following the user manual. Takes around 45 minutes at best as product is already 75% complete when shipped. Only item you need is a Phillips screwdriver. Small plastic wrench is provided.
Product is easy to charge, charger simply plugs into a regular outlet and the other end into the rear of the vehicle (no need to remove any covers). Charger has a red/green LED indicator light which is useful. Product is 2 speed (Hi/Low) and has a forward or reverse switch. Switches are easy to operate on dash console.
I like the fact that the vehicle will not reverse in Hi speed (for safety). Hi/Low can be selected stationary to pull away with or toggled when vehicle is in motion. “Gas” pedal is down by right foot and simply a go-no go switch. Pedal pushed down = go and Pedal release will essentially brake.
Our 4 year old loves it. Low speed is a sow walk pace. Hi speed is very fast waking pace for adults. I was concerned it would be too slow but not at all for his age range. It’s just right for him to have fun. Best used in a wide area as turning circle is large (like in a cul de sac or park trail).
Haven’t ran the battery all the way down yet but has lasted at least 45 minutes on some outings. Another excellent feature is that the Battery voltage is displayed on the FM radio tuner so if you know a little about 12V batteries under load you can figure out when it’s getting low. It displays voltage to 2 decimal places like a meter!
Only a week old today but so far 5 star review and glad we got this model. Highly recommended. Probably best for older 3 year old to about a 6 year old in my opinion." — Bryan Applegate

best electric cars for kids

Credit: Amazon.com

Highlight: Suitable for kids 3-8 years old.

Helpful review: "I bought this car for my nephews first birthday and it was the perfect gift. I just have a couple problems with the overall details of the car: It rides very smoothly, though when you go to make turns it’s a bit choppy since you have to constantly reverse and drive forward just to make a simple turn around the corner. The radio is far too loud and there doesn’t seem to be a way to lower the volume. So if you plan on taking this outside make sure the volume on your cellular device is low. The charger lights green when it’s “charged” but there’s no percentage indicator to let you know how charged the car actually is. the speed calibrations for the controller are far too confusing so you might want to read the box instructions carefully before driving the car to make sure it doesn’t go too fast. Also the instructions that come with the car on how to build it were also very confusing to follow so you’re better off watching the how-to video that amazon included with the pictures of the car. But aside from all of that my nephew seemed to enjoy it." — Jem Jones
Trending review: "It is a quick and easy assembly. The produce runs nicely. I love all the safety features on the car from the 5 point harness to how the door opens and close. When opening and closing you have to slide the switch over and then push close. I love the added security especially since my child decided to stand and lean against the door. I love the light feature on the car and the underneath pulley to move the car around when it dies. The only con is the battery life isn't the best. I got exactly 25 minutes before the battery died. I reached out to the seller and the seller reported you will only get about 25-45 minutes of use on a full charge depending on whether or not you are using it on a flat surface, weight on car, etc. My son weights 22 pounds and we used the car on wood floor in the house and got exactly 25 minutes before I had to charge it again completely. I would have liked to get a little more run time hence the 4 stars. Overall, the produce is great and the seller was helpful and knowledgeable about their product. I would recommend this purchase and will most likely buy another one but this time for my niece." — Daphne Miller
Reassuring review: "Super cute and easy to put together. I’m terrible at constructing things, but my husband was still at work and our daughter was so anxious to play with the car. It took about 15-20 minutes to put together & she loves it. She had a red Benz that we purchased around Christmas time from Walmart and this one is 10x better. The remote control is super helpful (Although our toddler thinks she now has a chauffeur lol) & I love that it had a seat belt and plays music. Also, I like that the battery is in front of the seat, instead of under it, so we don’t have to remove the seat for charging. It’s only been a few hours since she received it, but so far... so good. I’ll keep you all updated." — Braxton Smith

Highlight: Powered by two 30W powerful motors and one 12V rechargeable battery.

Helpful review: "I purchased this gift for a 3-year-old and he fits in it perfectly and still has room to grow! The battery lasts about 45 minutes, and having the remote for the parent to override the control of the car is a super nice feature. The design of the car was nice, the plastic seemed to be a little on the cheap side but nothing that wouldn't hold up. The only complaint is that the door is a little hard for the child to open and close on their own. The wheels also skid from time to time and don't do too well on grass- because they are made of plastic so they just become slippery. Overall this was a great buy and the child loves it." — Summer Raine
Trending review: "Easy to assemble. Fast arrival time. Great features. Love the remote. I purchased this for my granddaughters 5th birthday and she absolutely loves it. The PA system, as well as the life like sounding sirens and horn is a great addition to this Police SUV. Everything was in the box that was supposed to be and nothing was damaged. I looked at many 12v ride on vehicles before choosing this one and found that although many have similar features they do not all share the same quality materials or craftsmanship. I am extremely pleased with my purchase of this product from this company and will be purchasing again when her little brother gets big enough to have his own ride on toy." — Leigh Deese
Reassuring review: "We absolutely love this car! It was super easy to assemble. I am impressed how long the battery lasts! We went for a walk for about an hour, and the battery was still working. The lights and siren are not to loud. The quality of plastic seems to be good. Needless to say, my 3 yo loves it. We were very sceptical while buying the car as we had a really bad experience before getting similar car on internet that didn’t work from get go. However this time, no complaints and vey happy. Also the shipping was super fast. Recommend!" — Alicia Beaulieu

Highlight: 4 wear-resistant wheels, suitable to ride on all terrains.

Helpful review: "Assembly was easy , even for those who are not particularly handy. Came exactly as described , easy to operate , lights up in the front and back. Makes engine noises when pushing the iconic Lamborghini push to start button. AM/FM radio is included in the vehicle with Bluetooth capabilities. I wish the tires had rubber padding but they are just plastic. The wheels, sideview mirrors , and Lamborghini steering wheel really add to the overall aesthetics. Packaging says 37 months plus but I’m sure a 2 year old would be just fine with a helmet and adult supervision in the slower speed mode (2 speeds; Slow or Fast)" — Mike Diamond
Trending review: "I bought this for my daughter. She just turned 3 and absolutely loves it. I accidentally ran over the remote. I called a day later to see about getting a replacement. The customer representative asked what happened and I told him. Expecting to buy one to replace the one I ran over. He said he had to put me on hold while he called to see about getting one. I asked if he could see if they had 2. A min later he said 2 was on its way to my house. I asked if he needed my card info because I was expecting to pay for both. He said it was under warranty. Blew me away. A nice welcome surprise. Again I couldn’t be any more happier watching my daughters face light up." — Robert King
Reassuring review: "This is the cutest! I was worried about some of the comments saying it’s small but when my 1.5yr old sat in it, he can barely reach the peddle so he has plenty of time until he outgrows it. But for a 5 year old, it would be pushing it. A 5 year old wouldn't be comfortable in it. Love all the details on it; tail lights, start button, Bluetooth, etc. only complaint I have is that the car is so loud you can’t hear the radio if you are walking behind your little one in it" — Matt Brown

Helpful review: "This is a great little toy for my grandson of 2/12 years. Well worth the money spent, but like most boys, he's already getting bored with it. The only problems I've had are... the electrical charging plug fit so snugly that when I attempted to remove it from under the seat, the silver charging plug stayed in the jeep while the rubber outside (with the wire) pulled out. It would not go back together again. I had to scavenge around to find an exact volt and watt charger I already owned to replace it with. Also, those "seatbelts" anchors pull right out of their holdings. I guess they are "required", but really a waste of resources. The jeep does not go fast enough to transfer an injury from anything like a crash or flipover. He's rammed it into fences, trees, building and he's perfectly fine and so is the jeep." — Jesse Burke
Trending review: "So "Santa" brought this for my daughter for Christmas. I was very skeptical and relied on other reviews to determine if this was a good purchase. I must say this thing is pretty darn good. My daughter loves to ride along and she struggles a bit with steering right now but we will get there. Until then I drive her using the remote. It's like a big RC car. The stereo is a nice little feature. The battery seems to be doing good. It was fairly simple to build taking about 30 to 45 mins. The remote took all of 2 seconds to figure out. I wished it had a little further range but that's not a big deal. So far so good. If anything changes I will update this review. If you are skeptical about the brand and price vs quality. I would recommend giving it a shot." — Camron Stevenson
Reassuring review: "My 3 year old absolutely loves this truck. Our driveway is muddy, rocky, there are tree stumps, and this truck does NOT slow down. It climbs over a tree stump, over a small pile of stacked wood, goes through mud puddles, up hills, down hills, goes through thick grass, over fallen tree branches... it is meant for our country life! We were hesitant at first but it was certainly worth the money. The only thing that is a downside for me is I absolutely cannot figure out the radio. It isn't a big thing, he is content on just riding around without music but it would be nice to figure out the radio. Husband threw away the instructions so I'm not even sure if there is anything in it on the radio ordeal 😂" — Cynthia Barr

Helpful review: "My friend, this is an awesome ATV. It is strong and it is capable of carrying an 150lb man. I was testing this out myself without my son (he was asleep at the time). Installation was a lot easier than I thought because I expected it could be a long night putting this thing together but I was wrong. I only need to put a few things together. I was able to get it up and running within 30 minutes. It is powerful and lots of features. It can run backward and forward with a button switch because there’s only 1 pedal. This pedal is only to apply power to run. There’s not a break, just simple release the pedal to stop. The body has strong and thick plastic, also the red color makes it look so crazy cool and mean. The LED lights looks cool as well. It also has radio, music presets, USB for mp3 player, etc… this is a sweet ride. The kids will be appreciated and loved!" — Stacy Rect
Trending review: "This ATV is beefy looking. It fits larger kids compare to single seat ride on cars. The wheels are huge and can go over obstacles like garden hose and rocks without any problem. It’s 12v do it gets decent speed at fast mode. The assembly takes some time since you’ll have to connect the axle, gears/motors, steering sticks, etc. You’ll want to assemble this on carpet or some cushions because the steering stick protrudes out on the bottom. Most of the assembly is done with the car upside down and the stick will poke out about an inch beyond the base of the car. I put it on my giant beanbag so it doesn’t scratch my hardwood floor. The instructions is great and shows each step clearly. All the L and R parts are labeled so it’s hard to go wrong. Before screwing on the seat cover, you’ll want to connect three wire connectors (left gear, right gear, and power control). The rest of the steps were easy. Because of the size, it does have a wider turning radius than other ride on. But not by much. My daughter loves to ride this over grass and puddles so I’m pretty glad that I went with the ATV." — Alisa Wilson
Reassuring review: "It was easy to assemble. Kid loved it. Looks just like the pic. We got the blue one. We opted into this one because our boy is tall for his age and he would have grown out of a car too fast. He is 4 going on 5 soon but looks about 7. He had a blast riding it. The controls are buttons in the center of the console for forward and reverse. It goes a safe speed on the fast mode. Wish it were a little faster though. Rolls over small medium rocks and rides on grass decently. I recommend for young kids under 6, any older and it would be too slow. Oh, and we couldn't get the radio to scan to find local stations. So let us know if you figured that part out. I recommend for little ones. It's fun. Oh right and battery life is ok, you can get about an hour out of it. That's fine for us or we'd be out there all night, lol." — Buckey Cagle

Helpful review: "I bought this well in advance of my little's 2nd birthday party, and it's great, but it could be better.
PROS:
1. Easy to assemble - clear directions
2. Remote works great for me - easily enough connected (once I actually followed the instructions)
3. Considering how close little ears are to the speakers, the volume is fine (we actually turned it down)
4. It's not overly noisy - about what I would expect/remember from these kinds of cars when I was a kid
5. Harness is great - I love that it's not just a lap belt
CONS:
1. The seat isn't adjustable. My little cannot use this car by himself unless he's out of the harness and stands up - there's no other legitimate way for him to touch the pedal or reach the wheel. So it's remote-control operation only for now. I realize it's advertised for 36 months to 6 years old, so I'm not griping too much about it at this point - just something to note for others who might care.
2. This one's more of a "me" issue, since the product photos clearly show older/bigger children (although none of them look like they have their legs stretched out to touch the pedal). It's such a low-profile car, I can't see a 4-6 year old actually using this and enjoying it. It reminds me of a giant using a "normal" car. By the time my son can reach the pedal, he won't be sitting "in" the car anymore, he'll be sitting "on" it and look like he's driving something not actually meant for him, plus be much too tall for the steering wheel and buttons. I can't imagine he will feel anything other than scrunched in.
Overall, it's a great little car - and the "real" headlights plus radio and adult remote make it very much worth the price. I just wish the seat was adjustable, and/or it came with a way for kids on the smaller side to be able to reach the pedal." — Cady Lashier

Helpful review: "Great little car I bought it for my grandaughter for her 1st birthday it arrived on time and was easy to assemble she absolutely loves it. Her parents love driving her around in it while she beeps the horn and jams to baby shark. She also loves the "push to start" and is obsessed with closing her door. I was really pleased with this purchase I got way more than I expected at this price point. I waited to review until we saw how it performed but it is still running great and it holds a charge well and she uses it quite a bit!!!" — Lisa Brooks
Trending review: "Cute small little Bentley car. Fairly easy to assemble. Took about an hour to put all together.. The hardest part was plugging in the wires under the seat correctly. Has lots of functions (usb port, horn, aux cord for music, led lights,, etc.) Purchased for my 1 year old. She will need us to drive her with the remote for a while because she can't reach the pedals yet. I would say 3years old would be the maximum age that could comfortably fit in this car. Overall a good buy. I caught this one for a great deal. Now that I have it, I personally wouldn't pay more than $200 for it." — Ryan Rooney
Reassuring review: "I ordered this for my daughter’s birthday on Saturday and I’m glad it came in early. It was easy to assemble. All I needed was a screwdriver and Voilà... everything came together as it should. I wasn’t even aware of the mp3 area that was installed and that really also helped bring everything together. I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase and so excited to give it to my little girl for her big day. HER FIRST BIRTHDAY! Thank you so much for this can’t wait to see her smile." — Xavier Martin

Helpful review: "We purchased this item for our 7 year-old 56 lb granddaughter. When the car arrived, it was clear that it was WAY too small for her. The owners manual stated that the car is suitable for kids up to 8 years old weighing 65 pounds, which we relied on for our purchase. We started a return on the product, and customer service was very responsive. However, we were informed that we would have to pay the (considerable) return freight. We appealed, and the issue was escalated, where they agreed to send us a prepaid return label. We returned the item and received a prompt refund in full. So, we were pleased with the customer service, but would strongly caution anyone buying this car for any kid over 4-5 years old." — Mark Anderson
Trending review: "This pink Lamborghini is an absolute dream. We bought this when my daughter was 1. Obviously she couldn't drive it - but that's why I love the remote control feature, I can drive her until she's big enough to drive herself. The battery life is actually pretty long and I charge her up maybe once a week (I use this toy multiple times a day). Drives easily over grass, concrete and does well on small hills. I'd recommend this for any kid!" — Patricia Green
Reassuring review: "I am absolutely thrilled with the Lamborghini Urus! This pink Lamborghini is not only adorable but also packed with fantastic features that make it a hit with both kids and parents. The parent remote control is a game-changer! It allows me to guide and control the car's movement, ensuring my child's safety while they enjoy the ride. This feature gives me peace of mind during outdoor playtime. The car's design is incredibly realistic, and the attention to detail is impressive. The opening doors add to the overall authentic feel, and my child loves getting in and out just like a real car. The built-in horn, radio, AUX port, and LED lights are fantastic additions that keep my child entertained for hours. The spring suspension provides a smooth and comfortable ride, even on bumpy surfaces. I also appreciate the 12V battery, which offers sufficient power for extended play sessions without frequent recharging. So overall, it has exceeded my expectations. It's a high-quality and fun electric vehicle toy that brings joy and excitement to my child's playtime. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing ride-on car for their little one!" — Katherine Bilotta
